On Christmas day 1642, Isaac Newton was born. He was a sickly child who found it difficult to make friends, but he was fascinated by inventions, spending his time carving sundials and making kites. No one could have guessed that he would become one of the world's greatest scientists, and that his discoveries would change the way people understood the universe.
